Vintage Report : 2001

Margaret River - 10/10
The driest growing season on record. The poor level of Marri (Red Gum) blossom contributed to an increase in bird damage. Dry/warm – sometimes hot – conditions over the growing season ensured excellent quality fruit. Super year, with elegant, well-structured chardonnay

Great Southern - 10/10
After a very dry winter and some of the lowest water supplies on record, beneficial early spring rains arrived, moistening soil profiles. Summer was warm and dry allowing fruit to ripen perfectly. Wines have marvellous intensity and flavour.
